Drag a PDF onto the upload zone or pick it from your device. The file is processed locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
ZentoPDF renders every page and measures its visual fill ratio. Pages whose content stays below the (tunable) threshold are flagged as blank and queued for removal.
Click download to get a new PDF that contains only the non-blank pages, in their original order. The source file stays untouched on your device.

Every page is rendered on a hidden canvas and the proportion of non-white pixels is measured. Pages below a configurable threshold (default ~0.5% coverage) are flagged as blank, which catches both completely empty pages and pages with tiny scanner speckles or page numbers only.
Tune the sensitivity slider: a lower threshold flags only truly empty pages, a higher threshold also removes near-empty pages with stray scanner noise. You can preview the flagged pages before confirming, so nothing meaningful is deleted by accident.
Yes — that is exactly the main use case. Two-sided scanners often produce blank back-pages that bloat the PDF. The pixel-based detection ignores typical scanner background noise so only real blank pages are dropped.
No. All detection and PDF rewriting happen locally in your browser using PDF.js and pdf-lib. Your scanned documents and the cleaned PDF never leave your device.
ZentoPDF rebuilds the page tree without the dropped pages, so the remaining pages are renumbered sequentially. Internal bookmarks that pointed at non-blank pages remain valid; bookmarks that pointed at deleted blank pages are simply removed.
