Turn pages in 90-degree increments.
A PDF booklet rearranges your document's pages using a technique called imposition, so that when printed double-sided and folded in half, the pages appear in the correct reading order. For example, in a 1×2 booklet mode the last and first pages share the same sheet front, while the second and second-to-last pages share the back.
No software required! ZentoPDF's booklet maker runs entirely in your browser using PDF-lib — a powerful JavaScript PDF library. There is nothing to install, and no account to create. It works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
Our tool supports a wide range of standard paper formats including all US sizes (Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Executive, Folio), ISO A-series (A0–A6), B-series (B0–B5), and C-series envelope sizes (C0–C7). You can always choose the format that best fits your printer.
Clicking 'Generate Preview' renders a visual canvas for each output sheet, showing exactly which PDF pages will be placed on which sheet side (front and back). This lets you verify the booklet layout before committing to the full PDF generation.
Never. All processing — page rearrangement, imposition, and PDF generation — happens locally inside your browser. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy and data security.
